One year of Poetic Justice

Thanks to all who joined us for our one year anniversary celebration last night. We were treated to readings of several of our Best Poem winners from the past 12 months, as well as a recital of a chained hay(na)ku, created collaboratively on the night.

Read more about chained hay(na)ku here.

Congratulations to Annabel Wilson who took out the Formal Poetry competition with her triolet Evening Cove, Rakiura. She walked away with a bottle of Olssens Robert the Bruce red and gets to hang out with Poem Bunny for the whole month!

Our next Open Mic will be on Monday, 15 November at our usual venue, Kai Whaka Pai on Ardmore Street. Come along for the start of another year of poetry, wit and wine!
