Poetic Justice Inaugural Night

Poetic Justice held its inaugural Open Mic night last Monday, 19 October, at Pa Runga wine bar, and what a night. Thanks to all who read and all who came just to watch – the wine flowed, the talent was undeniable and Liz, our MC, managed to only say the “F” word three times. Congrats to Libby Paulin, whose stunning poem Bell Tower was voted best of the night, and thanks to Kai Whaka Pai for the venue and Olssens wines, who provided drink specials and a bottle of Riesling as a prize for Best Poem.

If you were there and enjoyed the night, or missed out on October 19, the news is good; we’re doing it all again on Monday, 16 November. See you there!
